Welcome to Building a Better Athlete and our CrossFit Program.

New to Crossfit? This is how we get you started…

Typically CrossFit is done at a local gym or “box” in CrossFit terms. However, it can also be done at home, or through an online program. However it’s important to assess your goals before committing to one of these methods of CrossFit. Building a Better Athlete only offers CrossFit programming and classes in the Redding, California area.

Do You Have to Be An Athlete?

No, you don’t have to play a sport or be active at all. We offer CrossFit to anyone over the age of 10. We even have programs for moms who have recently had a baby, or are looking to lose that pesky baby weight. Please don’t be intimidated by the heavy bars, and loud music, we are kind and friendly. We highly value parents, and families, and are dedicated to bringing health and fitness to anyone who wants to learn.

We have clients that range from 11 years old to 60! We know that everyone has a story and they often need special attention. This is why our classes are never over 10 people in size. We feel that 10 people is a manageable number of people, and anything over 10 in one group is asking for an injury.

If your interested, and want to drop in for a free class please contact support@buildingabetterathlete.com.
