Are you an athlete who want’s to get stronger, faster, leaner, and all around better for your sport? Then you might consider CrossFit for Athlete’s. You might be thinking, Crossfit won’t work for me, I’m an athlete and I play a specific sport. I’m not a Crossfit Games Athlete or competitor. I don’t just want to get better at CrossFit for the sake of CrossFit. I want to get fit for my sport, and improve my performance.

 

If this sounds anything like you then this article can really help you better understand CrossFit for Athletes and CrossFit as a Sport. You see, there are specific programs and coaches who work strictly with athletes. They use CrossFit style workouts and principles and apply them to your sport, then they modify based on your strengths and weaknesses.

For example, if you don’t run Cross Country, there is not a lot of benefit in running a 5k in your workout. You would be better off running 100 meter sprints in combination with some sort of strength move.
